These are government housing projects designed to provide suitable accommodation for security personnel and government employees in the southern border areas of Saudi Arabia.
The total area of the compounds is around 10 million square meters, containing approximately 25,000 housing units. The overall project cost is estimated at SAR 20 billion (USD 5.3 billion). The first phase was launched in 2022, with full completion expected in 2025.
The compounds feature modern architectural designs and include essential facilities such as mosques, schools, hospitals, shopping centers, and more.
Rawaq Najd provided engineering consultancy services for three sites (about 8 million square meters), including design reviews, redesigns, as-built drawings, shop drawings, and safety and operational licensing.
Work on two remaining sites is in its final stages.
